This seminar will focus on how a clinician can help individuals resolve issues that relate to their relationship, enhance communication, teach clients techniques to communicate feelings to their partner in a healthy manner, and learn how to begin a difficult conversation using CBT intervention strategies.

I work with individual adults, families, and teens. Many of my clients are new to therapy and come from diverse backgrounds. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help you work through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship stress, and trauma. My goal is to counsel, motivate, educate, and empower you to find solutions to the challenges in life that keep you feeling stuck.

 
 
 

Meet Carolyn!

Carolyn Adams earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Mississippi University for Women in 1976. She then earned a Master of Science in Counseling in 1991 and Master of Social Work in 1999 from Jackson State University. Carolyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of social work practice experience and is trained in helping families prepare for adoption, working with teen mothers, and providing support and coaching for personal growth and well-being.  She is certified in Emotional Intelligence and is a Myers Briggs Personality Assessment Practitioner. She is also trained to administer SASSI Abuse Screening Inventories and is experienced counseling individuals in abusive relationships.

Our office is located in Atlanta, Georgia. However, at this time we are only scheduling clients via tele-therapy.
